A partnership between experienced funeral directors and the designers of one of the largest board companies in the United Kingdom has produced a distinctive and totally environmentally sympathetic coffin design.

The Environ Eco-Casket

A Continental Style of Casket developed from our wide experience in China and the Far East - making a statement. The features of this casket are as follows:

* A low side height allows for easy lifting of the deceased into the casket.
* A low side height allows for better viewing of the deceased, particularly when mourners are seated.
* A built-in adjustable pillow allows careful positioning of the head.
* A pair of triangular section internal strengtheners allow great load bearing capability.
* A lid which can be locked closed or easily opened for viewing.
* Six carrying handles included, suitable for carrying or lowering.
* Internal Size - 6' 2" x 22"
* Two caskets can be packed into one box saving transport costs

The White Compakta Coffin

A protest against convention - manufactured and sold by us for over ten years. Revolutionary, the white finish allows painting in (preferably) water based paints for the expression of personal ideas.

Available in white only for painting or to use just as it is. Young people can gain great comfort in painting a relative's coffin. They can learn about and express grief in a caring manner, even before the death takes place.

As with all of our retail products, it is supplied ready assembled - our clients do not need screws and nails, pots of glue and confusing instructions. The coffin is made without screws or nails, plastic fittings or glues. The board itself is mostly composed of recycled products using natural starch glues, not organic poisons as used in some Chipboard.

All models are supplied for no extra charge with six handles made from cotton quite suitable for carrying or lifting, Internal Size 6' 0" x 18"

The Woodgrain Compakta Coffin

Saving the environment, even in death.

* Large Casket finished with a high quality dark Mahogany Print.
* Can be painted if required.
* As with all our caskets, it contains a tray with an acrylic liquid-resistant lining. (Other manufacturers use a plastic non-degradeable lining.)
* Is fitted with six handles suitable for carrying or lowering.
* As with all our caskets, it is White inside, and does not require a linen lining.
* Packed in a transport box suitable for storage.
* Weighs only ten Kilos
* Internal Size - 6'- 5" x 22"

Our designs have many advantages:

* Are made from largely recycled materials using only natural starch based glues

* Are well finished inside in white and need not be fitted with a lining

* Use strong Cotton Handles with a pressed paper back plate

* Are very light and easily transported or stored

* Can be supplied packed flat in large quantities and are quickly and easily assembled

All of our coffins are made from cartonboard materials produced from unbleached pulp containing at least 60% recycled paper and all wood pulp is from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). We use only natural starch based glues in assembly - no bolts, screws, tape or other fixings. Our handles are made from natural woven cotton. No toxic pollution is produced when these coffins are buried or cremated.
